Grow Your Own, Tea Plants

Barrows Tea Company is very pleased to offer our on-line tea customers the chance to purchase real live tea plants (Camellia Sinensis)!! Each tea plant is shipped direct from the grower in Florida with directions for growing, and producing drinking tea from plants. All plants are fully guaranteed by the grower.

Tea plants (Camellia Sinensis) are hardy evergreen shrub grown in part shade to full shade. Most plants are hardy from Zone 6B - Zone 7B. You can grow a tea plant easily in a greenhouse or on a porch even if you have to bring it in during the winter. Most tea varieties tolerate temperatures down to 20 degrees F.
